Storm Clears in Macau for AKOC

Flights and ferries were canceled, but the racing went on in Macau despite some atrocious weather conditions. Some heats on Saturday were canceled but the skies cleared on Sunday to treat the drivers to the first laps under sunny conditions and on a dry track for their pre-finals and finals.

The first round of the Regional AKOC championship threw everything nature and the challenging Macau track has to offer at the drivers. In the end it was Tin Sritrai from Thailand in the Senior Open category took top honours after a 25-lap long battle with Aaron Lim. In the top Junior category Malaysian driver Bryan Mehta emerged victorious ahead of Indonesians Kevin Susilo and Rio Haryanto.
