Rotax Asia & Malaysia Standings after Round 5

The Royal Pahang Kart Prix – 5th round of the Rotax Max Challenge Asia & Malaysia series was held last weekend in Pekan. The updated championship standings are now available for download.

The event attracted an impressive amount of entries, with a fair few drivers new to the series, and a fair few returning drivers, such as 2011 Rotax Malaysia Senior champion Farriz Fauzy. The Karters Companion Software – Review

The Karters Companion is free karting software for windows developed by Australian kart racer Shane Rampling. It’s a great way to keep track of your setups, parts inventory, plan your racing budget, and it includes a lot of calculators to make your race and practice days easier. While some data logging programs offer a few of the features such as saving your setup details, The Karters Companion goes a lot with several more useful features.

WSK Malaysia September 22-23. Entry Form, Regulations.

Renovatio Motorsports is pleased to announce that applications to race in the WSK Asia 2012 races are now open!

The inaugural WSK Asia series will consist of 2 championship cup races in 2012 – the WSK Malaysia Race and the WSK Singapore Race.

Following the single championship events for 2012, the 2013 calendar will revolve around a 3-4 race championship series across the region.

The 2012 season opener will be the WSK Malaysia Race, which will be hosted at Sepang International Circuit (SIC) kart track on 22-23 September 2012.

As a sporting event, WSK Asia intends to be a series to host the best young racing talents from around the region with the aim, that through corporate scholarships, there will be an opportunity to allow talented youths to train with a European factory team or participate in one of WSK’s season ending events – a beneficial experience that would help provide further insight to the professional levels of motorsports.

AKOC Update After Rd.2

The Asian Karting Open Championship held its 2nd round at the end of July in the Philippines.

Brothers Milo and Estefano Rivera took control on their home track winning the Senior and Junior categories respectively. Indonesian driver Gabriel Arcaradine took the championship lead with a 4th place finish in the final as round 1 winner Aaron Chang didn’t take part in the Philippines.

Chittesh Mandody Wins at JK Tyre Rotax India Championship

Team Maini Racing took first place in 3 categories at the 2nd round of the JK Tyre Rotax Max National Championship in India. Defending champion Chittesh Mandody had a comfortable win ahead of Anshuman Channeterjee and Ameya Bafna. Mira Kirit Erda won the MicroMax category ahead of Pradyum V. Dandigond and HB. Phaneesh.

Kush Maini won the Rotax Junior category after a battle with Team Rayo Racing’s Nayan Chatterjee in 2nd after losing the lead in the final corner. Arya Gandhi finished in 3rd.
