Daniel Woodroof - StratosPress Release: Just under 100 karters participated in this weekend’s third Round of the Rotax Max Challenge 2011. The event was held at a temporary track at the Sarawak Stadium in Petra Jaya, Kuching, Sarawak – the first time an event of this kind had been held in Sarawak. Rotax Asia Zone/Malaysia Rd3 Kuching Results

The 3rd round of the Rotax Max Asia Zone/Malaysia Challenge has been held in Kuching, Malaysia. Senna SN controlled the Senior category winning all race from the front, while Afiq Ikhwan took DD2 top honors. Luqman Hakim came from a DNF in the pre-final to win the final in MicroMax, and Daim Hishammudin moved to the Junior championship lead with his win.

Rotax Challenge Indonesia Round 1

Indonesia Rotax Start SentulThe Sentul circuit played host to the return of the Rotax Max Challenge in Indonesia. With promosing entries for a re-launch of the series the competition featured some of the big names in Indonesian karting, all battling for a spot in the Rotax Grand Finals. Silvano Christian got his title chase to the best possible start in the Senior Max category with victory in the final ahead of Senna S.N and Zahir Ali. Keanon Santoso, Ananda Julio, and Paul Halliday took the MicroMax, Junior, and Masters categories respectively. Results after the jump.

AAM Malaysian Karting Championship

The opening round of the AAM Malaysian karting championship was held last weekend at the Speedway PLUS karting circuit. Nik Azri, Daniel Woodroof, and Faris Anwar Redza emerged the winners.

Two Podiums for Stratos Motorsports

This last weekend saw the first round of the AAM Malaysian Karting Championship at Speedway PLUS Circuit in Subang.

Local team, Stratos Motorsports, fielded three young drivers – Malaysian Daniel Woodroof in the Junior Category, Singapore-based Rory Elliott in the Cadets along with Malaysian Natania Tai also in Cadets.
