KartMag.fr are reporting that Tonykart is in talks with Rotax about becoming a supplier for the 2013 Rotax Max Grand Finals for the Senior category. The news is interesting because OTK have never supplied the event before, likely because they have their competing Vortex ROK engines and racing series.
KartingAsia.com heard from a Rotax employee way back in 2007 that TonyKart was close to signing a deal to supply karts for the Grand Finals, but the deal fell through, so if this happens it has been a long time coming.
KartMag also mentioned that Birel is likely to continue as a supplier, while Sodi may stay on and supply DD2 karts.
