With a deep and talented field of drivers looking to start their 2009 racing season on a positive note, it was the Arrow X1 of Australian David Sera that convincinglydominated the TaG Senior fields during the first 2 rounds of the WKA Manufacturers Cup Series.
After an exhaustive trip to Daytona Beach which included almost 40 hours of travel time, Sera overcame his late arrival and lack of practice preparation to lead the way from the outset. Sera set the pace in qualifying and starting from pole dominated the pre-final and final to claim an impressive victory.
Sera continued his impressive form on Tuesday to record his second sweep of the series. After again claiming pole position, the Arrow X1 driver demonstrated his class winning both the pre-final and final on his way to an emphatic sweep of the TaG Class. Proving his first round sweep was no fluke and that the Arrow X1 will be a force to be reckoned with throughout the 2009 season.

In an amazing achievement Sera’s Arrow X1 led each and every lap throughout both days of the entire event, never being passed on the way to a convincing double sweep of the TaG Senior Classes.
The event was a great test for the new Arrow X1 and throughout the event minimal changes were made to Sera’s X1, proving the new X1 retains the speed straight out of the box that Arrow Karts have become renowned for.
A number of Arrow drivers benefited from the Arrow factory support that was present at the event, highlighted by the strong win in the final of the Yamaha Jnr Heavy Class by talented Arrow driver Dakota Pesek. Other notable results were achieved by Arrow pilots CJ Litner and Wyatt Gooden, both of whom recorded impressive podium finishes in the finals of the Yamaha SuperCan Lite and HPV Heavy categories respectively.
