BRP-Rotax announced that the 2008 Rotax Max Grand Finals will be held on the 25th to 30th of November at the La Conca circuit in Muro Leccese, Italy. For the first time in Italy, the Grand Finals will bring together 216 of the top Rotax drivers in the world from the Junior, Senior, and DD2 categories to compete for the title of being the Rotax Max Grand Finals Champion.Location:The 1250m long La Conca circuit is in Muro Leccese. The town is located in the city of Lecce in the Apulia (Puglia in Italian) region of south-eastern Italy. The town is 80km south of Brindisi and just 10km west of Otranto. Chassis Suppliers:The chassis suppliers for the 2008 Max Challenge Grand Finals are CRG, Maranello, and Zanardi. For DD2 things remain as they were in 2007 with CRG supplying the karts. Although not announced yet the chassis model is likely to be the CRG Dark Rider. For Seniors there will be a change as Maranello supplies the Rotax Grand Finals for the first time. It looks like the RS7 is the kart that will be on the grid in Italy.
