Hello Everybody.
My little borther, 13 years old, wants to start a "career" in kart racing. The only option we have here is a league for 4 strokes rented karts, so this is what he will join. I'd like to help him with the training. My experience in car racing is somewhat limited to several gymykhanas and some offroad racing. I do know about the proper way to corner, using the sight and such things. what books would you recommend me to read in order to help him with the training?

The "Speed Secrets" series, while not aimed at Karting has a lot of useful reading, and "Drive to Win" by Carroll Smith is also a good read but also isn't aimed at karting, and has a fair bit of advanced technical stuff.

I've only had a quick browse through it but The Karting Manual seems like a good read for beginners.

Another possibly good one is Bob Bondurant on Race Kart Driving with Bentley from the Speed Secrets series so they might have some similar content. I haven't read this book though.

Sprint Karting: A Complete Beginner's Guide
Karting! A Complete Introduction
Fit for Motorsport (Amazon seems to have a few fake sounding good reviews after a few bad reviews popped up)

I have this book ... its pretty good and goes through several topic areas quite thoroughly.
