For races in Singapore I think it really is as simple as having a proper track to host races on. The track owners also have to be cooperative because the track has to be homologated and that's impossible to do if the track owners arent interested. When there's a track that can be homologated for races I'm sure there will be races. Rotax certainly and maybe some others.

Lastsun just to touch on this point again:
i had contacted them cause i wanted to get into rotax class, all he kept saying is ask me to go kart in malaysia

It is quite a logical response that you should join the other Singaporeans and race in Malaysia if you want to race Rotax. Singapore = no Rotax racing yet. Malaysia = big Rotax grids. In addition to that the Singapore distributor has done enough to get Singapore a seat to the Grand Finals for the first time. He had to do it by getting drivers to race in Malaysia but he did get it done. He's laid the groundwork very well for a series in Singapore possibly as early as next year if there is a suitable track.

Kristof you've got me confused. Lastsun was I believe talking about the RMC in Malaysia/This Region from the point of view as a potential competitor.

You mentioned a bit of trouble about your efforts of becoming a dealer because your emails didn't get a response. Did you try picking up the phone or meeting in person? There are several dealers in Malaysia in addition to the main distributor so I'm sure if you actually set of a kart shop you won't have a problem becoming a dealer. Feel free to email me if you have any specific questions - i'll reply. Or you can call me as well - or come see me at the international race we have in a few weeks.

You also brought up a completely unrelated point about a driver having to wear the country racing suit at the Grand Finals. That issue is clearly spelled out in the regulations when a driver enters a local or Asia Zone Rotax Challenge event. I explained this in more detail in the Private Message i sent you if you've had the chance to read it. As far as I'm aware you've never been to a single event here, you haven't been part of an event as a competitor or as an entrant, and yet you're threatening to "make a case" out of something that is clearly spelled out in the regulations and to which all drivers agree to when they enter the championship. It would be the same as me going to your ASN and starting to complain about the their regulations. Is Fei Hoong aware that you might even be causing problems for him?

Unfortunately saying "you're wrong" doesn't make anything clearer other than that you disagree with me on something, which is perfectly ok. You quoted an entire post and simply said it was wrong without specifying which part you disagree with and without any justifications as to why. A bit of elaboration would add up to making this a constructive discussion rather than what it is at the moment.

Many successful racing series' are one-make events, such as most single seater racing categories before F1. The technical regulations are exactly the same for all competitors.if I remember the FIA-CIK regulations correctly, never could be because it's too short and tight - tracks need to be something like 1km length and have minimum widths etc.
