Use of a Podium

Postby Ryan104 » Wed Aug 01, 2007 2:48 pm

I havnt been on the podium for a long time, and last week was first time for ages. But i cant say i got on the podium because there was no podium.

I think from now on, a podium should be used for sure at our kart races. Especially cosidering Malaysian and Asian Rotax Max competitions.

It is nice to get photos of drivers on the podium instead of just on the ground and it looks more professional. The drivers im sure would all rather stand on a podium as well.

cheers 8)

No podium is ok. My 2 times at Kota Bharu we used the steps to the royal box. Monaco F1 podium style. :P

Yeah I wonder what happened to the podium last round.. I'm sure it was there earlier this year.:? Another thing that drivers should always take care of is to be in their race suit when they go for the prize-giving. If a picture of the podium ends up in the newspaper and you're in shorts+t--shirt with everyone else in their race suit it doesn't look good.

hahaha yeh ive been asking for one at least once every day. looks like ill be using this one for the next race. hopefully ill get one for the final race of the season.

I wash it and it comes out still smelling like petrol (dont smoke near my pits  ). Needless to say the amount of washing powder and fabric softener i put in.

I should start a poll for everyone to agree i need a new suit then show my dad :)

While there was no podium last round it should be said that the trophies weren't bad :D. Small but really nice.
