Should be OK, the difference is about 3-4 secs a lap. I did debate about saying that the Yamaha runners should use Mojo's as well but basically we want to allow everyone to use up scrubbed sets of what they normally use - if they've got them. I guess most people will use new sets. If I was going to run Yamaha, I'd put a new set of Mojo's on - or even better, pray for rain and use Yokohama's - the difference between a Rotax with Mojo wets and Yamaha with Yokohama's will be pretty small :-)

But actually when we've tested for the SL Cup, we've often started practicing on a used set of Mojos then switched to the Bridgestone's and there's really not that much difference - often we've been faster on (used) Bridgestones. Even on my DD2 last week, I got within .3 of a sec of my Mojo time when I put a set of used Bridgestones on. The I overheated them and got very slow but that's another story :-)

The entry form is now downloadable from www.johnkingkarting.com (downloads section). the regs for the Rotax are there as well but are pretty much the same as RMC with the following exceptions:

Fuel tank size is limited
Tyres rules are changed to allow multiple sets if required

Note that the ASRs will require all karts to make a minimum of 2 pit stops

Remember that entries must be received AND paid by 15th July to qualify for the discounts.

John. Are Singapore drivers eligible to compete? I think there are a few in BDR who may be interested.

No, the situation is the same as the SL Cup, it's a National Club Race sanctioned by MAM which means only Malaysian licence hoders can participate.
