I'll answer a few....
1) The regs for Senior chassis says "Chassis must be CIK homologated or sanctioned by the authorised Rotax Distributor". Presumably we're talking about CIK 2009 Homologated so what's the process for building up the list of sanctioned chassis?
The homologations run for 6 years with new homologation periods every 3 years - so 2009 karts are valid until 2014... 2006 homologated karts are valid until 2011.
And otherwise I think a chassis is "sanctioned" if it passes scrutineering. For drivers with non homologated or out of homologation karts i think it's best to check directly before the event.
2) The engine regs for Senior talk about the engine ID cards. Are we implementing these again? If so, what's the process?
Have been scrapped I believe - should be removed thanks for pointing that out.
3) On seniors, front brakes are allowed only if CIK Homologated. Again, presumably this is CIK 2009. Correct?
See Q1.
4) The regs for overall Rotax and Malaysia are slightly different about coolants. Most hot countries allow water based coolants e.g. Redline Water Wetter (advert coming - available from John King Karting

. Can we clarify this please.
"Surfacants may be added" should be added imo.
5) The regs for cadet karts specify a maximum axle diamter of 30mm. Why is this? Many manufacturers are now changing to 40mm axles.
Might have to be checked.[/quote]
6) The new date for KB clashes with the published date of Round 1 of the SL Cup, is someone going to sort this out?
I think the KB date is very inflexible because it relies on the Sultan, so hopefully Yamaha can change theirs if they can...
btw where have you found the Yamaha SL dates I haven't seen them anywhere? Send 'em over.
