Not that I know of. But remember a novice racing license now costs only RM125 per year, which includes insurance (RM100) + your medical checkup. :D Oh and if you already have insurance that covers you I think you don't have to pay the AAM insurance fee if you show your policy to them.

On the west side - or more specifically in the klang valley vicinity there is effectively only one karting championship year - which is why all the drivers are dying for more racing!

yess!!! it's organised by permas go-kart club in jb. they had monthly race for formula 100 & 125cc. they also had johor fun-kart championship for every 6 month. but for formula 100 & 125cc, i'm not sure they need a racing license or not.

U only need to have a Kart be it shifter, 125cc or formula 100 as long as it can compete!

No need license at all...

Gonna miss this track, cause they will move to new place with new track soon sometimes in this year.

i heard for the new track they try to followed the CIK-FIA karting circuit in many ways they can such as 10m widht, track length around 1.2 to 1.4km including 9 to 13 nos of corners, 's' turns, etc... but the original layout of the track still in progress. not so sure.. no photos or other information. maybe it is ready to used in july this year.. just may be. i think you can get more informations at http://www.permasgokart.com
