How more clearer do I have to say.....the govt must abolish taxes on both karts and its related spares!!!!!!!

Everything else will snowball from there!

Wishful thinking rite?
Why have 300hp when you cannot handle a kart's 30hp?

If you are talking about tax in malaysia, then take a look at Thailand. From What i spoke to with the dealers in THailand, certain items are taxed up to 80%!!! NOW that is crazy

But their kart sport is still growing at incredible rates.

So to an extend, the Tax does play a role in it but not an extremely major role. It is the people invovled. karting is not even considered a national sport in Thailand and they don't even have an F1 Circuit like in malaysia. So yes, Tax does play a role, but thats not the end of the story.

So many other factors to consider

And not to mention, Polictics kills the sport too.

I notice that "kita orang malaysia ni..." we like to save as much as possible....so we'd complain about the tax and decide that there are more important things to spend the cash on. not bashing my own people, just stating a fact.

*The government even encourages this thrifty-ish lifestyle. why else would we have malaysian mega sale every few months?  :D

Would you mind elaborating your "fact" and its relation to the 2nd para in simpler english?

probably true in regards to thais paying more for a kart, but surely Malaysians have to pay more for a massage here locally!
