This thread is to update competitors and others on the racing calendar for Malaysian and the Asia Max events and to provide one place to download all the regulations.

For discussions on the actual race events please use a separate thread.


2009 RACE CALENDAR:

Rotax Max Challenge Asia:
  1. 28/29 MARCH (KB-MSIA)
  2. 9/10 MAY (SENTUL-INA)
  3. 25/26 JULY (TBA)
  4. 17/18 OCTOBER (TBA)

Rotax Max Challenge Malaysia:
  1. 7/8 FEBRUARY (ELITE)
  2. 28/29 MARCH (TMKC-KB)
  3. 27/28 JUNE (ELITE)
  4. 25/26 JULY (TBA)
  5. 15/16 AUGUST (ELITE)

KKS-AAM Malaysian Championship:
  1. 18 JANUARY
  2. 8 MARCH
  3. 7 JUNE
  4. 4 OCTOBER
  5. 15 NOVEMBER

PLUS ENDURANCE:

What about the new international track that we have heard so much about getting built this year somewhere near Genting Highlands, I dont see it mentioned in next years racing schedule

Dear Gary,

Ref your note. The Ulu Yam track is being built. Unfortunately the last oil crisis did not help. We are delayed by another 2 months. Earthworks have finished but the access road is taking a lot longer. We hope to lay the tarmac by end November when the dryer season is upon us.

Sorry it is taking longer than usual.
