What every one is going to tell you is to buy something like Sparco.

Hmmm since you are young maybe you could get an OMP gloves. It costs around RM89 for adult ones. Should be cheaper for the junior sizes. The OMP shop is located in Sunway and the new stocks had just arrive at the shop

Buying a pair of gloves is like buying a helmet. They are essentials for your racing needs. If you keep on thinking about the cost, you would likely to get something inferior. Gloves must be leather on the side of the palm so that it will protect your hand and fingers. If you have injuries to your hand, you are not likely to be able to use them for awhile. Imagine that!
Buying a helmet is the same. A good helmet will cost at least RM3000. That helmet will last you for sometime to come if you take care of it. I have seen drivers who does not even clean their helmets after a race. Helmets after a day racing must be dried on the inside sponge lining. A good way to do it would be to air it dry under the sun or under a light. Likewise for leather gloves, it must be left to dry in the sun also but do not wash them. This will make the leather brittle later on.
Always remember the saying - For helmet, how much is your head worth. For gloves - how much are they worth to you?

bell's slogan in the old days (perhaps only James and I are qualified to remember) was "If you've got a $10 head, get a $10 helmet..." Very true...
