Yo! Deo! :D
Long time no see since AKOC@Macau !
We'd like to be there, but to be honest, some of our HK drivers are worrying about the political atmosphere in Thailand

Hi I hv just been back from Thailand National Championship round 5 in Saraburi. It was nice and sunny out there. Track is in very good condition with minor change to make it easier to overtake .
Don't worry about Thailand politic. Firstly, we hv got a new Priminister, this could claim the situation down. Secondly from the Airport to Saraburi, you will not feel anything because it is in diferrent direction. In fact it does not effect our normal life at all. Last year only 5 Malaysian participants but this year 13 have confirmed. It would be thrill in KF 2 class,I heard many of top karters from Asian country will join.
For Yamaha, 3 Japanese confirmed.
Don't miss it :!:

Hi Deo. We will be looking forward to coming to Thailand to enjoy your excellent weather and warm hospitality. Looks like it will be forming up to becoming a great race.

I heard that there are a number of drivers from India coming as well, so a truly Asian event. I hope that you can convince our Hong Kong karters to come as well as they provide very good competition in the race.

Hi Gary,
Great to have you in the race. I still don't know the detail of the drivers yet. By the way what class are you and your sons joining? My daughter will be in JR class. I would like to race as well because I never had luck when raced in Macau. But have to work with the commitee. No chance.

Hi Deo,

I will be racing in the Veterans class and my sons are both in open 125 using KF2 engines.

This is our first race in Thailand so really looking forward as we have heard the track there is very good

Can anyone tell me how far the track is from the new airport and will the hotels provide a pick up and drop off service from airport to hotel and a daily shuttle service to the track.

Great 8) There will be at least 4-5 top Thai drivers in KF2.
The organizer will arrange the pick up from the airport to Saraburi. It takes around 1.5-2 hours to Saraburi by bus (150 km). They also provide shutter bus from the hotel to the track.
The hotel is in Saraburi province, will take 25 mins drive to the track. No traffic but quite a distance.
I will find and post a picture of S.C motorsport track for you.
For more information the contact person in Thailand is Simom Tan simonracing@yahoo.com

Hi Deo. Can you also recommend some nice thai food restaurants where we can get some nice food. Not too spicy, if possible. I think that we will be staying at Saraburi Inn

Deo, are there any other hotels (other than the one we'd stayed last year) near the track?

Yeah, the track is great, but just a little bit far from town.
AND the best thing is U and my father will not be the only veteran drivers there in Thailand.

By the way, the Hong Kong Kart club have just decided HK will hold the last round of the Asia Max (AMC), will U guys come and race? (also Deo?) :?:
