Postby Nick Walker #24 » Wed Aug 13, 2008 3:36 pm

:x I have been trying to upload pics to my profile and i want to tell the admin that there upload strategies is a load of bullshit and users should be allowed a reasonably sized display picture. :bounce:

I want something done about this as i have just wasted 45 mins of my time looking for the correctly sized picture.

Wow heavy comment ! I have also tried to upload pictures but dont remember commenting as I blame myself for lack of knowledge in resizing pictures. After all its already a "syabas" for the admin to run the forum and website. Why do we want to worry about pictures??

I'm not exactly an active contributor to the forums (sorry guys will try to do so in future) but but the moron who posted this subject incensed me enough for me to respond!

The service on this website is provided for free and yet he / she has got the gaul to moan about it??!

Mate, when you start paying for the service then you can start whining. In the meantime suggest you be happy with what you get.

For those struggling to get an avatar picture uploaded it is quite simple.

You need to size the picture at most 101 pixels by 101 pixels. You can use a free image editing software such as PhotoScape or Picasa to get this done. In Picasa you need to "export" and set the size to 101. In Photoscape you have to "resize -> adjust the longer length" and then save the picture.

Then in KartingAsia go to the user control panel (top right of forum), then go to profile->edit avatar, and choose upload from your machine and find the file on your pc, click submit and you're done.
