Damn lots of crashing going on into the hairpin! Leave a bit more racing room guys :D.

Someone also very almost made a bad situation worse by driving back onto the racing line when karts were still coming through.

I had a small problem when taking the videos. There were spectators i.e. adults and the cadets around me. I had to edit the videos heavily as some of the views were blocked by them especially towards the 1st corner.

Not that I am complaining but I am afraid there'll be more and more people coming into the track to watch the race at the area where I took the shots. Eventhough I had a pass but still I registered myself (media) for the shots. The cadets were playing at the tire barriers nearby, it can be dangerous to them. Maybe the organiser can look into this.

I'll try to download the videos quickly when I have the time. Mikko since you're too far ahead there's not much of your driving shots.

I'll used castor-based oil next round so it's easier to smell from far away.

What oil are you/team using? Is castor-based good or bad for Max?

Rock, castor based oil are good oil but would tend to be gummy after use. You need to flush your carb out with clean unmixed petrol to take away the gum. If you do not do that later on your carb will be filled with gum and some of the holes will be blocked. For Rotax engines, it is recommended that you use full synthetic oil of mineral base. Again if it is castor based, you will need to do the cleaning as outlined.

Thanks for the advise James, I been using castor-based oil for some years now.
Never try full synthetic oil yet. I think..

Just mix 1 tablespoonful of castor-based oil with 50 litres of fuel...makes your kart smell fast, without any change in performance level!
