Here's the website:
http://www.hunghingco.com/

If U wanna go there, U can take the MTR to Kowloon Tong station, then take a taxi to Kowloon city (an area near Kowloon Tong), cost U arround HK$30 taxi fare. Just tell me where U staying, I'll teach U how to go.

HK,

Many thanks for info and offer for help.

Noted they sell ARAIs too. Anyhow back to Alpinestars - Are they really that cheap in HK? What would the K-MX3 cost there?

Thanks!

Iactually called and asked. The KMX3 is selling for hkd2,990. The drawback is they don't really keep stock. They only have 1 KMX3 suit with them now. After conversion, it's around rm1,150.Maybe I'll get it from demontweeks.

Jiat - what exchange rate did you use? Seems wrong when u converted to RM...... and I am sure you pay more at Demon Tweeks...please add the 17% VAT if you are buying there or if you are importing.....well, there's always the freight and the grey custom duties.

Last advice - dun forget my advise abt the size.....they are different to spraco, omp and MIR....

good luck!

HK - thanks for your help.....maybe you get a different price than what jiat29 was told?

Hehe...yeah...wrong calculation...should cost around RM1,250 after conversion. We do not need to pay VAT as we are outside the VAT. IF you are doing any purchasing, do not use their webiste as it calculates VAT as well. Email them directly and they'll charge you without VAT. I bought my Mychrons without the VAT as well. The only thing to worry is custom duties and of course irresponsible postmans. They lost my Mychrons and the insurance claiming process can really kill you.

demon tweeks is ok, they're reliable. yes, emailing them is better, no vat added. regarding shipping, i use express mail service. should not cost you that much vs. the usual ups and dhl's. though with the fedexes, you can get it in a couple of days if you're in a rush. yup, sizes of alpinestars are quite different from the rest. theirs is smaller compared to sparco. but the alpinestars look good. should be for the price you pay. i recommend their gloves too, good snug fit. good for tuning. my son likes it better than his sparcos.
