Starting in just a few hours. :D

Looks set to be a great race judging by the starting grid:

With Massa down in 9th and Kubica in 10th after both had problems in qualifying they'll be making their way up. Can we expect Webber to stay at the top or slow down Hamilton and Kimi?

Rain also seems to be almost a certainty which certainly won't make things any less interesting .

Is there any doubt left that Hamilton is the real thing? Surely he will win several WDCs before his career is over.

haha. Hamilton had some luck on his side last year though he has yet to prove himself as a champion, but i'm sure he is made of champion material. I mean all the drivers in formula one must be a decent driver, and champions in their own right, and hamilton has a long way to go, he's still very young. Lets hope more young guns will be up from GP2 next year to Formula one, they'll provide stiffer competition. Oh and just off topic, all the talk about Alonso last year being a spoilt brat and all, he's a fantastic driver we have to credit him for that. He was great in Silverstone

cheers.

Come on Formula125 did you watch the race? Alonso drove well but Hamilton lapped him, and Kimi, and Trulli and most of the others. He lost last years championship by 1 point in his first year, racing with a double champion as his teammate. What more can he do?

Yes he's not a champion yet and he's young and makes the odd mistake but don't all the real racers? He's a top top class driver and will win the championship one day assuming he stays in a competitive car.

of course i watched the race. I just never really like Alonso's attitude, but all that being said and done, he's a double world champion and he is really flattering that renault car, and i have to say he is fantastic. I mean, Alonso wants to be given number 1 driver status in the team, does that make it racing anymore? i wouldnt want to play fiddle to my teammate in go karts let alone formula one, and for hamilton to run as a 2nd driver? haha. not a chance. :D oh yes, hamilton is really good, and he is a great showman as well. ah.. time will tell, its just the beginning of hamilton's career anyway.

Well that was an eventful race. Bad move by Ferrari and Renault with Kimi and Alonso to stay on the old intermediates! I guess they just weren't expecting more rain. Kimi was faster than Hamilton as the track was damp/drying, but when it got wet Hamilton ran away.
