Disappointing Race at RMC Round 3 2008

Postby killerbees92 » Mon Jun 02, 2008 5:52 pm

i was disappointed over the performance by number 26 driver in seniors. he nver showed discipline on the track at all...in heat 1 he was trying to push me out and was moving left and right on the track to prevent me to overtake him a slower driver. i did not even see a stationary blue flag at all......i made a complain which nver improved his discipline at all....in heat 2 start he tried to push me off the track which caused me to let my let him pass without creating a pile up.id love the see the video that was taken during the race to see if i was rite from my view....well many and track also told me i did my best and they even saw the left and right move by number 26.........and in prefinals a huge accident was created involving my team mate number 5 who was clearly infont of 26 and i was in side cause i was directly behind.....yet again......number 26 drove his kart as though he forgot how to race a kart.......pls organizers and marshals try to prevent this from happening again....i want to race in rmc and amc...with this kind of drivers i really would think twice before joining a rmc or amc race.

cheers

i can see you're pissed off with the guy killerbess92, but thats racing, and unless you're lapping the fellow, he has every right to jostle for position. As for the push off part, thats part of racing too. Unless the organizers have actual footage, its difficult for them to take action. I agree, some racers out there are not racing cleanly and it can be very frustrating. Cheer up dude, as long as you race cleanly, you've got a clear conscience. Look forward to the next race and dont let your nerves get the better of u!

oh btw, you're Suriya is it? I think you'll remember me from kart world. haha.

Suriya, calm down. Seems like you are really angry. It is not worth being angry.. angry only makes you feel worst. Just relaxed and get ready for your next round.

Kart #26 is a Swiss Hutless Toxic II & not Birel. The driver is my son. When he saw this posting the first thing he did was to tell me, that's its not over". Have you ever notice that I made this forum as a venue to complaint/attack/defame anyone? If you remember the Kelantan incident when driver of Kart #26 (used to be kart #76) taken out by Fei Hong for the lead. Did I ever use the forum to complaint. I didn't even bother to make any complaints to the COC of the race because what we thought happened and what actually happened can be different. Why should I complaint in the 1st place. To me it was an incident that was not deliberate and that Kart 76 made a mistake.

Killerbees, I know you're frustrated and I can understand why. To make matter worse you did not finish the finals because of your own doing. So where to throw flame and who to blame. If you think that this is a venue to release your frustration and launched an attack on kart # 26 then I personally think it is not proper at all. What more to throw statements that may not be true. Well, I saw your eagerness to win but so does everyone else. However the race was over and you can always fight another day. If Kart 26 wished to push you out do you think you would have completed the races? or maybe it was just your thought.

Since you’re new in karting (so do I) FYI, incidents do happen in racing and you would experience worse if it's outside Malaysia. In the 2007 World Finals I saw slower drivers in front were tapped by the rear driver as warning either to go faster or give way. I saw slower drivers were out of the race or lost places simply when they were pushed out because there were hogging. So much about non contact sport. I however, never would like to see such happenings and what more to encourage Kart #26 to do such a thing. I love to see a clean fair race. I however, also hate to see sign languages being shown by drivers just like what your team mate did what more if the incident was caused by him. Kart 26 would have complaint about the sign languages but giving it a thought , why give him problem as he is a Petronas driver. Petronas put emphasize on driver’s discipline on the track something which they wouldn’t want to tolerate. In case you don’t know, your team mate was warned by the COC for dangerous driving that caused the incident in the pre-finals. This was so because marshals were watching.

If you think Kart 26 or any other drivers have blocked you unfairly then report it to the COC. If the COC and marshals were of the same opinion as you were, then Kart 26 or others would have been penalized or given a stern warning. Why use this nice forum to express your dissatisfaction? You have posted a few posting after races stating others took you out e.g in Sepang and Kelantan with Kart #12. You also had incidents in India don’t you?. Have you ever look into the mirror and asked yourself why do you always get yourself entangle into such situation. Was it the other driver or was it you?. Think about it deeply. That's how I thought the driver of Kart 26. Don't look at others as the problem. This what I told him during the days where he had incidents when he was driving Junior last year, “The incident happened because you’re slow, so learn how to be faster so that you can be further in-front where no one touches you”. He had a few incidents before that caused by others but there was no complaint except once from me. And you know why? I want him to be tough and so that he knew what racing is all about as every driver wants to be 1st simply because 2nd is the 1st looser.

The other thing is, never get other people involve (parents, mechanics, friends and etc) with any incidents that happen. If you have problem with another driver, resolve it with him/her only. That is why it is called the “Senior Category”, i.e for matured people. There’s channel to lodge your complaint and dissatisfaction. Getting others involvement could cause reaction that lead to unnecessary actions which can make matters worse. Do you think by posting your frustration here would resolved the issue? Race was over and as far as I know you did make a complaint.

Closing your door is part of racing and you may have noticed how your team mate closed the door very tightly from heat 1 till the pre-final that caused a pack of drivers including you whom I think were faster then him racing too closely. During Heat 1, your team mate Kart #5 only let Kart 26 go through after he had an incident with Kart 91 at turn 5 and also after letting you go at turn 1 (as though there's team order). If you think Kart 26 was slow, how come he managed to chase you after about a sec gap?. I wouldn’t deny that Kart 26 had problem exiting the last turn especially towards the end of the race and was trying to close the door but you were faster there. That was why you finished ahead of him in Heat 1.

As usual I will post the edited videos I captured. I just hope that you will not think that I am biased and that I have edited all the actions between you and Kart #26. If there’s nothing as what has been claimed by you then I am sorry for you. I just hope that people don’t think otherwise about you.

For a start lets look at the incident in the pre-final where Kart#26 who managed to overtake your team mate kart #5 for position 3 at turn 6 (end of the fast down hill sector) took his narrow line towards turn 7 and kart#5 did something foolish which drag you along which cost you your chassis. See whether what you claimed in your statement was true? In the clip you were 5th, Kart 26 was 4th and your team mate was 3rd at the beginning of the clip. BTW just before the incident, your team mate turn his head to the left... why do you thin he did so?. Maybe it's not that clear in the clip but try to look at it frame by frame you may see it. As for me I saw it life...

and in prefinals a huge accident was created involving my team mate number 5 who was clearly infont of 26 and i was in side cause i was directly behind.....yet again......number 26 drove his kart as though he forgot how to race a kart

In front of you maybe...

My only hope is that this matter doesn’t dragged on and it finish here.

I witnessed the whole incident as well. The three drivers involved were called to see the COC. I was also present at the meeting. The COC asked Kart #26 to explain what happened. After Kart #26 explainations the COC moved on to Kart #5. He ADMITTED his mistake and was the cause of the incident. Kart #50 WAS NOT inside of Kart #5 but was behind and on the outer side. Kart #50 admitted that he was a bystander to the incident and HE CRASHED BECAUSE HE HAD NO WAY TO AVOID THE INCIDENT!!! Why does Kart #50 now changes his story?

An incident has happened and there was an enquiry. It is finished. Tomorrow is another day and we live to fight again. This should be the spirit and not lay blame on others for your own failures. I am not supporting anyone but would like to see justice done. If Kart #26 was at fault he will be dogged by me in the first place. He has already been reprimanded by me after the first incident.

I think for the best of everyone do not use this forum for your own personal issues. This subject is now closed.
