Good luck on getting to the track --- remember that which highway you use is critical.

You're most welcome to come over and watch. Elite doesn't offer the best view as far as kart tracks go but you can see enough ;).

Sunday the 1st is the best day to come and watch. Aim to get there before 1. From about 12-12.30 on the Sunday the action really starts and goes on until about 4-5pm. If you want to talk and ask questions from drivers Saturday is a better time as it's more relaxed.

It is actually fairly simple but the lack of signage can make it frustrating and if you miss the turn-off then it becomes a real frustration - you can see the track but you can't get in!

From Petaling Jaya/Kuala Lumpur by the NKVE:

Just keep going south until you pass Shah Alam and Subang Jaya/USJ. You will see a Caltex station on your left. Turn left, off the highway, immediately before the petrol station, keep going on the slip road and you'll end up at the track.

From Petaling Jsya/Kuala Lumpur by the KESAS highway:

Turn left off the highway at the traffic lights just after the Hindu temple on your left. The sign to watch out for is "KLIA". At the toll gate (you actually next to the track on your right but you cannot get across...) collect the ticket and keep right, the sign will be for Subang/USJ and Shah Alam. Once on the NKVE you are heading north, underneath the overhead restaurant complex. Get off immediately at the next exit, the sign will be for Subang/USJ. Keep left at the toll gate and immediately after paying the toll turn left into the toll operator's office - the sign will indicate you can top up your Touch & Go card here.

Keep going behind the office building, keep on the middle road. This will bring you underneath the highway and back on the other side. Collect your toll ticket and keep left, heading towards KLIA and Putrajaya. You are now on the NKVE heading south. Keep going for a couple of kilometres and look out for the Caltex station...

Make sure you turn off before the Caltex station, otherwise you have to go around and back-track all over again!

I agree with Alex and just like many things - once you find it, you be wondering what the fuss is all about!

Just a hint - look at the Google Map image before you set off and you cannot miss it!

Thanks for the advice, guys.

My last trip there was a real pain since the taxi driver didnt know how to get to the track (could see it, couldnt get to it).

There is only one way into the Elite track, which is going south on the PLUS Highway (North-South Highway) between Shah Alam/Petaling Jaya and Putrajaya/KLIA...

So from the airport you need to get on the PLUS Highway going north to Shah Alam/Petaling Jaya - after the toll gate nearest the airport keep left and get onto the PLUS Highway. Keep going on this highway...first it heads west before making a sweeping turn to the north.

Head north until you come to the overhead restaurant complex (which is currently unoccupied). Look to your right and you can actually see Elite but you need to make a meandering u-turn to get there... Go underneath the overhead restaurant and follow the directions posted above:

Get off immediately at the next exit, the sign will be for Subang/USJ. Keep left at the toll gate and immediately after paying the toll turn left into the toll operator's office - the sign will indicate you can top up your Touch & Go card here.

Keep going behind the office building, keep on the middle road. This will bring you underneath the highway and back on the other side. Collect your toll ticket and keep left, heading towards KLIA and Putrajaya. You are now on the PLUS Highway heading south. Keep going for a couple of kilometres and look out for the Caltex station...

Make sure you turn off before the Caltex station, otherwise you have to go around and back-track all over again!

No worries. The first time we went to Elite we ended up going around in circles too...
