KRS Motorsports Racing Team Chassis For Sale:
Intrepid Cruiser Pro (Mod Max) Rolling Chassis

Chassis history:
This chassis has been used by me at two race weekends in 2008: The Kota Bharu event in April, and the Coimbatore race in India. It was used on the week of the events for testing as well. Other than that Fei Hoong took it out for a few laps in Elite. Total hours clocked on the chassis is now at about 11.

Edit: Now used in 3 races, and a bit of practice before the race ;).

Latest results from Coimbatore were: pole position, and 2nd place in the prefinal and final.

In Kota Bharu I didn't have such a great weekend finishing in 5th in the Final. Nabil took the same model of kart (an intrepid cruiser pro) to victory in Kota Bharu in the Junior category.

The chassis has experienced just one off-track excursion as a result of a bit of contact, which was in the pre-final in Kota Bharu. Zero bent parts. Never hit anything else ;). Normal wear on the bottom of the chassis.

Edit: Had a crash in heat 1 last race which resulted in a few bent parts - all replaced now except brake disc has a small chip (still works perfectly), and steering wheel has a small cosmetic imperfection (cut in the padding).

More information about the chassis is viewable on the Intrepid website here: http://www.intrepid.it/t_cruiserMAX.php?ln=en

Price: was RM10,500, now RM10,000 Negotiable, does not include an Engine. (Brand new retail price for the chassis is RM13,500)

The chassis can be used in the Senior, Masters, or Junior max categories - or of course with any other engine such as a Yamaha 100 or similar. It was specifically designed for the Rotax Max Categories.

Price if purchased with a brand new Senior Max engine: RM19000, now RM18500
Price if purchased with a brand new Junior Max engine: RM18700, now RM18200

The Chassis is being sold to give the opportunity to karters or potential karters to get a near-new Intrepid at a discounted price ;).

If it gets sold I will be on a new Intrepid next race. If it doesn't get sold I will still be racing the one you see in the picture. :D I like racing on brand-spankin' new chassis' ;).

Suriya no prob about the practice ;). Your laptime in the final was quite impressive btw - you're improving quickly. :thumbright:

Yeah we have some similarly-styled suits that we're using. Might be getting the official intrepid one later.

Now back to the chassis... it's still for sale, and it's still very fast. :D For any new karter (hasn't raced in RMC) that buys it, I can offer 2 days of driver training from me free of charge ;)

well, it would be easier in SG for me, moreover, there are currently new karting circuits completing soon. One of which is under Karting Racing Association of Singapore which I intend to join. That's why I want it to be in SG.
