Hi,

How do one gets a licence from SMSA to take part in international or national karting competitions?

I see the SMSA website but nothing is stated about the licence, only membership is stated..

im a racer from singapore.i took my license 3 mths ago.

you hav to eamil them to make an appointment to meet them.they would send you the forms for licence and insurance forms.you just get those and write em up and pass 4 photos.....you should hav experience in a RACE KART!!Just email them....they will explain to you briefly......

I just send one to SMSA yesterday asking about membership, they ask me to call the number..WTF..

yea it is a card.yea i too called the number and now iv got what i need to race.......just call them and everything would be clear!!!!

ME TOO!!!! lol..how did u get the money for buying kart? are u rich? I also wanna have my own kart..but parents are worrying about racing, they worry about the danger..

what makes you say im rich.i just spend money on my karting and nthing else.my parents support me.today im going of to india for AMC round 2.so you parents dont mind buying you a kart???nthing to be afraid of.....its a great sport to play.iv nver been in a serious accident before.....so no worries

because a kart costs few thousands..! racing suits, tyres, engine, everything..oh..u are going India today?! but u are 16, I'm supposed u are taking N or O lvls this year?

yea im taking n lvls this year.well if i dont go and race i cant go up the ladder.so once im back i would go to skool and study.when its karting time ill kart.manage my time and im fine.
