Lambda sensor measures oxygen content left in your exhaust whereas EGT ( exhaust gas temp ) measures.....temperature.

You are right that lambda sensor is important for A/F mixture but then I am not aware of any data logger from the above mentioned brands which tell u that you are at optimum A/F mix.....so far, only EGT is available only.

There are some stand-alone A/F monitoring systems avaiable. ie, see demon tweeks catalogue but I am not aware of anyone here ( in this region ) that uses such system for kart engine tuning.....actually, even EGT is rare tho common in the US of A.

AIM had lambda sensor for some time already called LCU-ONE CAN
hookup to MyChron4 very well and logging with its Race Studio 2. It will also work as stand-alone.

Good afternoon, I came across your forum and saw the talk on MyChron products so I figured I would let you know the automatic lap time feature using GPS has now been enabled. This allows any of you who have GPS to get your lap times without a trackside transmitter, optical receiver or magnetic receiver. All that is required is to run a firmware update on your M4 and GPS unit and then follow the simple instructions to enable GPS lap timing.
