I agree that 15 minute sessions should be enough.

But, whether or not we have controlled sessions on Friday actually depends on the track manager. Usually the Club takes over the track only on Saturday and Sunday.

Let's see what happens in Elite. When we were there a month ago they even allowed motorcycles to practice at the same time as karts. The mind boggles...

One of the solutions is to run the programme schedule more efficiently.

In other countries i have raced in as one kart class is finishing and entering the pits at one end the next class is leaving the pits at the other end.

This applies to practice, qualifying, heats and finals. There is no long breaks between track time that we currently experience.

I can understand the frustration of the drivers on the friday in KB. By law we are not allowed any activity on friday from 12.30 pm to about 3pm. This is for the muslim prayer especially in a state like Kelantan. Also the breakup of free practice is to prevent slower cadets to practice with the rotax. There have been far too many accidents due to this.

For round 3, I will have a look at the schedule to see if we could do something about it. Hopefully we can if everyone play their part. I would appreciate if you all could send in your entry way before closing date, come on time for scrutineering, get your engines sealed way before the event, then maybe we could get some extra time.
