We had 20 entries for RMC Malaysia Round 1. If everyone turns up for Kota Bharu, and the RL team returns - they should, they're missing out on some great racing - plus a few entries from India and Thailand, we could end up with more than 30 Juniors.

Wouldn't that be great racing...

:)

We've put in our entry already.

It seems there are 25+ entries for Junior at this point. Unfortunately the Thais have a national championship race on the same weekend so most of them will not be in Kota Bharu.

Let's hope for some late entries so the numbers will go up...

Their drivers didn't enter round 1 of the Malaysia Max series.

I was in zhuhai yesterday and Nick from RL Karting was there - said that they have about 12 drivers all up going to KB. :thumbright:

Entries when I last saw the list was:

Juniors: 23
Seniors: 16 +1 or 2 have entered I think since I saw the list.
Masters: I think was 10
DD2: I think 7
Cadets: About 10

I had the full lists sent to me but the file is corrupt and not opening.

Fei Hoong will make his Senior-category debut, and will also be in the DD2 category on a new Intrepid chassis.

I'll be on an Intrepid in Seniors. :D

Can any one explain to me why all of a sudden we can now use front wheel disc brakes in the rotax when we could not use them even though it has been in the SR, hmmmm interesting

For Rotax Senior/Master the chassis rules were changed last year (check the 2007 MKC SRs):

Brakes

Hydraulic disc brakes operating on rear wheels only. Front brakes are permitted and when used only CIK-FIA homologated front brakes are allowed.

The confusing part is "...rear wheels only." Then it goes on to say "Front brakes are permitted..."

Yeah hand operated front brakes were completely legal last year as well, just that nobody used them or those that did must've assumed that they weren't legal.

I agree that the wording is a bit off on the regs.... needs an update. Addition without edit is what must've happened.

Yes Suriya you were on it ;).
