Here's a response I gave to another enquiry:

On the engines, I've got 2 spares:

1) My race spare which is a P4 with a P7 barrel. This is an EXTREMELY good engine
- it's been mine since new, never been seized and always been rebuilt regularly. I
used this in a couple of races last year and it's as fast as any P8. I'll sell
this ONLY with one of the used Intrepid chassis (4/5 races old only) I'm selling for S$7000 complete. The engine was last rebuilt 2 races ago
2) An old P1 which is still OK - we recently did a small rebuild of it and
replaced the piston/rings and balanced everything and it runs very well. Probably
not a front running engine for RMC anymore but good for practice or club races.
I'll sell this for S$1800

I've also got my modified Rotax which cost a fortune when it was first modified
and gave out about 34 HP. We've rebuilt it if the spare piston etc the engine
tuners supplied but it's not as good as it used to be - to get the best out of it
I think you need to have special tools for tightening the conponents to higher
torques they we normally would etc. But, it's still a bit better than a normal
Rotax. I'd sell this for S$2400 but on an "as is basis" and would also need the
buyer to understand that it's not legal for RMC and also they would need to
specially cut pistons to fit the re-porting that has been done.

This is a old post posted in Feb 2008. As such, I am not looking for engine anymore.

Cheers
