My name is Fuji and I've lived in Singapore for the past 9 years. I
love the thrill of karting but I find the karting community here
sparse and disengaged; hence the reason I started this group.

My aim here is for karting enthusiasts to connect & organize karting
races in and around Singapore. As a start we can organize races at
Jurong Kart World and as our group develops, we can hold our races at
other tracks like Permas Jaya Circuit, Bintan Go-Kart Track, etc. And
if we're really committed we can even go as far as Sepang
International Kart Circuit and organize joint events with the guys
over at my-kart.org

The way to do this is simple. As a start we can set a date and get
together at the track. The event can be as simple as going out on
track at the same time and racing each another, or we can make it more
exciting by doing practice rounds, qualifying, and eventually racing
for points. Once we get this going, we can organize periodical races
where we collect championship points throughout the races.

I propose to do this on as simple a basis as possible. No membership
or membership fees required, no kart required. Just participate in
this group, show up at the track, and start racing!

This will not be my group, this will be our group, so I strongly
encourage everyone to contribute any suggestions & ideas.
