I only have info on two tiny tracks there, not sure if they are still there or not. I do think I've heard of a slightly bigger track there as well though, anyone know?

Then there's also some talk about a 1.5km track being built there but very little info on that as well.

Go-kart track for Malacca, Asia’s biggest

by STEVEN DANIEL

MALACCA: Avid go-kart enthusiasts can look forward to testing their skills with the construction of Asia’s biggest go-kart track here.

The proposed 10m-wide track will be 1.6km long and located on a 11ha site in Ayer Keroh.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam said the RM9.9mil project was scheduled for completion in August.

“It will be Asia's biggest, surpassing the 1.4km track in the Philippines,” he said after a groundbreaking ceremony for the track recently.

It will have a 500-seat grand stand, VIP rooms, a restaurant, media centre, safety centre, gift shops and 450 parking bays.

Besides go-karts, he said the track would be used for other motor sports such as cub prix races and remote-controlled car races.

With a track meeting international standards, he said the state could become a hub for motor sports, attracting racers from other countries.

Mohd Ali said the track could be used to curb illegal racing besides unearthing local talent.

“Jangan merempit di jalan raya, rempit di sini (Don’t race on the streets, race here),” he quipped in reference to youths carrying out illegal races on the streets.
