Hello guys!
I'm new and I'm from Hong Kong.
Since the next AKOC race will be racing @ Saraburi Circuit Thiland, just wanna see any of U guys can help me with any information about the track.
By the way, I've checked the http://www.kartthai.com/ website, U guys got lots of great kart racing circuit in Thailand, and the karting scene in Thailand seems to be so great, just can't wait to race @ Thailand.

Guess they want to keep all the secrets to themselves. :?

C'mon tell us something!

I emailed someone who should know a bit about the track to come to the forums to write a bit, hopefully he'll drop by soon. :D ... I do know there are already drivers here that should know so wake-up! :thumbright:

Saraburi track is is very fast track with long straights and now track surface is ok.

Jukka

Hello Jukka! Yeah I noticed on the Karthai website that when the track was new they had to redo the track asphalt a bit, good that it's in order now. :D

Hi,

I believe I had already give Mikko some clues of the saraburi track via email contact a week ago, the track layout is very similar to the South Garda track in Italy and the Braga track in Portugal, a combination of both, with the first half of the track (from the start line to the hairpin) are alike of Garda, where as the remaining of the track are alike of Braga. The track has gradient, by means, it has quite a large change in elevation, and some corners can be treated as blind. (The first fast sweeping corner where you storm down the long straight at the speed of about 110 km/h and slightly kink up the elevation then right turn down the hill, the right fast sweeping after the back straight also has the same characteristics) The track has also quite large change in RPM in the hairpin as it would pop below the power valve. Also the penultimate before the back straight is quite lower speed.

Hope you guys have fun in the race, sadly I couldn't join myself thanks to my university commitment.

Cheers, Kanit

Oh, the blue layout you posted has some difference to the real layout, the penultimate shooting to the back straight is something like this (sorry if you don't understand the typing to imitate the track layout)

Hi Jukka,
I'm joining the Rotax Max Senior, or the Open 125 Senior. Not decided yet.
How about U?? :D

Code:
1    CADET 60CC                       3
2    MINIROK                          9
3    ROK JUNIOR                       4
4    ROK SENIOR                       3
5    ROTAX MAX JUNIOR                 5
6    ROTAX MAX SENIOR                 7
7    ROTAX MAX VETERAN                5
8    FORMULA 125 OPEN JR. CLASS       4
9    FORMULA 125 OPEN SR. CLASS       7
TOTAL:                               47

So nothing amazing in any category... not one with over 10 drivers yet.. I'm sure there are a few that haven't sent their entries in yet but are going though. I might still be going for example but can't confirm until a few days from now.

As for forum members racing Jukka Koivistoinen is entered in Rotax Max Veteran, Franco Reyes in Mini Rok and Aaron Lim is entered in 125 Open Sr.
