Hi everyone....

This forum section is here to assist in building KartingAsia.com's track database as well as for general discussion on karting tracks.

You can start a new thread with information about track to be included in the database, or you can start a new thread to ask about tracks in your area if there's something specific you need to know about the track for example.

There are also several tracks in the database that don't have a lot of information, so you can add to that. We're also glad to post pictures of a track if you have general overview pictures that show the track or its facilities.

I will occasionally post threads requesting help on getting track info for example for tracks that have Chinese websites, or just tracks that I know are somewhere but don't have any info on them. While the online translators go a long way in figuring out the general info quite often the problem is in locating the track (precise coordinates), because road names are in Chinese as well.

Please note that for now we are focusing on tracks in Asia only. I have info and coordinates for over 500 tracks outside of Asia but now working on the Asia section first.

Hi, guys, i just joined the community and wished to contribute to the family.

This is a summary of the tracks that i had visited with my friends around Asia region. Of course we haven't covered all the tracks in Asia but nevertheless hoped it helped you in one way or another

Yes the track at Bataam have been there for awhile. Mainly used for rental karts. I have visited the track a couple of times with a view of organising an event there. To get it homologated will take a fair bit of work especially tyre barriers and run off areas.

Ah Heng is the guy in charge over there. Might be good to actually have a race there on a small scale. Quite an interesting track layout.

Yep, going 2 visit Heng at Batam track in this few days. Lets see what he think, good to have a race to get together once in a while.

I was at Batam International Track about 2 Sundays ago with Angeline & Jason Goodman, went out with the rentals, quite a tight track in some places. Nice mix of corners and straights. Let us know when y'all make a trip, would definately like to go too, to learn from y'all

Think the permas track database has changed.

The new track is now at http://www.permasgokart.com

The track has moved to a new place which is 5 months old now. The old permas track is going to be redeveloped into housing.
This new track is in a Palm oil plantation and is great, you can see the website for details.
