What a race .

Vettel made a mess... but perhaps Webber a bit to blame after hearing Hamilton's comments?

Ferrari got screwed (and screwed up them self) with the tyre choice early on and then being forced by race control to pit for tyres. They seemed to screw up Kimi's pitstop later as well with ~3 seconds of fuel going in only after all tyres were changed. Massa so almost got taken off by Wurz.

Racing between Massa and Kubica on the final laps.. Both running each other off the track.

Lewis didn't put a wheel wrong.. Mclaren seemed to have it real easy at the start with Lewis and Alonso both just saving fuel.

and so much more.

Why have 300hp when you cannot handle a kart's 30hp?

I figured Kovalainen could keep him behind... but was hoping Kimi could get past to keep even the slightest chance of the Championship alive. Went pretty damn close with Kimi making a move on the last lap but Heikki getting him back on the exit!

I can't believe Vettel got a 10 place grid spot for the next race! What does that accomplish? You'd think he already got punished enough losing a possible podium finish!

Also was a bit surprised Kubica got a drive-through, looked like Hamilton went wide so Kubica went for it - not a clean or very well executed move but not something that should be punished imo.

First of all, i believe that the reason why they didn't postpone the start of the race was about the TV broadcasting, to save their cost, unlike the same thing that happen in Brazil 2003, i remembered that the start was delayed by something like 20-30 minutes. A lot of new regulations which have been introduced in recent years were there just to facilitate the TV program, i.e., the less likelihood of doing red flag in serious accident, they just keep the safety car longer, i bet that if the same thing as Luciano Burti in Spa 2001 happened in these years, we won't have red flag, i am sure!

Oh, what i heard was that some regulations also said that, if the start/finish line is blocked, the safety car may take the racing cars to the pitlane as detour (i think this is ridiculous!)

I couldn't believe myself that the race were run more than 25% distance on safety car, despite zero visibility, i mean, it's just too unacceptably dangerous to go out there with river streams to be seen on the track (same level as monsoon in Thailand by the way)

I know that FIA have to save cost in business aspect, but what i've seen on sunday was FIA taken it a bit too far! (Some says Merc in the murk!)

PS. Actually Hamilton also got called by the stewards to explain his dangerous braking manouvering (I think his tactic was too fishy!), wouldn't it be nice to see him slips off the points and see what would happen in the next 2 rounds, we would have a very nice 3-way bloody battle!

they are supposedly the best drivers in the world, with the safest equipment, they have best wet tyres you could possibly have, if they can't drive according to the conditions then they shouldn't be there

Hi, aaron, long time no see. Yeah I agree with you, they have the best technology, the best driving skill. But seeing the race under the safety car for 25% of the distance in consecution was not on my expectation, well. They could have postpone the start a bit and let them race for real.
