CIK-FIA World Karting Championships, Who's gonna win?

The KF1 World karting championships are taking place this weekend in Belgium.

Favorites going in are probably all the Vortex-drivers, which means all the TonyKart guys and why not the Kosmic guys as well, but Parilla is performing ok now as well.

If I had to pick 3 drivers I'd say:
Marco Ardigo (TonyKart)
Gary Catt (TonyKart)
Davide Fore (Maranello)

Interestingly the only driver not on bridgestones is Manuel Renaudie on a PCR, so if Vega manage to bring a better tyre he might take it.

if Parilla is in the hunt, then hope its Marco Ardigo vs Michael Christensen

Davide seem to always wakeup in the WKC. :shock:

TM & Parilla very competitive. Vortex-drivers have to rethink base on practise times.

At macau 2006, a green/blue bird told me driver 'B' not allow to race driver 'A'. hope no such rule apply in this WKC..

If Gary is ahead I somehow doubt he'll just let Marco by. :wink:

He's won a few events already finishing ahead of Marco so I doubt the bird would say the same thing anymore. :wink:

Qualifying Heat A-B - Here

Tonykarts drivers were in control all the way. Top3 was on low 54s most of the laps. So im guess nobody tried any moves. Only Ardigo clock in the 53s. Base on the lap times, Christensen was keeping up with the top3 from start to finish. Very close race..

Bollingtoft was leading from start to finish. Arnaud on a TM was keeping up too. Bailly drop to 8~7 on the start. Slowing build up speed and manage 3rd. Bailly was setting fastest lap until Arnaud took it on the last lap. All most every drivers running in the 54s.

Gary on fire and on pole for pre-finals. Start to finish style. His pulling 2th per lap to 2nd place Bailly who showing stronger lap times in this heats. The best driver name i seen is 'Truelove' who set the fastest lap toward the end.
