Out of Curiousity

Can anyone tell me what's the Top line models for the Swiss Hutless? Is it the Toxic?

Whats the Specifications and the Price in Malaysia?

Daniel the top new SH chassis are the Toxic and Diabolik. In Malaysia the most popular one though is the Magic, and there are a few Toledos and Toxic's around as well as a Diabolik, or more specifically a Jarno Trulli kart which I believe is a SH diabolik or very similar. I'm using a Toledo at the moment, which is very similar to the Toxic.

We tested a Toxic and Magic back to back earlier this year in Sepang - same engine, same tyres. Our conclusion was the Toxic is better on slow corners, Magic better on fast corners. So in Malaysia the Toxic would be better in Kota Bharu but slower than the Magic in Sepang. Overall the difference was very, very close though - so different drivers would probably come to different conclusions.

i've tried toledo. That's good.I think that's the best chassis for SH. Coz one of my friend, dat usually using SH toledo, when he try the toxic, he must change his characteristics because the character of both chassis is different too. u must drive smoother when u use the toxic. BUUUUUT, i dont like both of SH. i love tony EVX ahah

The Magic was developed over the previous model Corsa which I must admit was a failure. The Magic chassis was chosen over Toledo, Vinto for the Rotax max engine. All three chassis were tried with the rotax engine with Bas Lammers driving to find out which chassis was most suited. In the end it was the Magic. For that reason it was chosen for the supply to the WF 2005. In 2006 new homologation of chassis SH came out with the Toxic (replacement for Toledo) and the Diabolik (replacement for Vinto). Generally the new generation chassis were developed on using the softer compound tyres like YJB and YJA. Testes were not done with Mojo. With the new generation of Mojo tyres for 2008 there would be improvements to the Toxic and Daibolik handling.

The homologation for Magic is still there and this model will continue for another 2 years. Improvements are in place for the Toxic and Diabolik models. For the DD2 chassis, SH will be using the Vinto and this will be available in Malaysia shortly.

For the Toxic models, we have waited for the new inprovements to be incorporated before bringing them in. By end November the new Toxic will be available. Cost will be around RM13500.00 per unit without tyres.

Is the price above for new units or used. Maybe you could highlight what is in the package of RM13,500.00

I'm quite sure the price will be the cost of the Chassis only without the tires and engines. That is about the price of the CRG DD2 dark rider too.

The price quoted is for the new model Toxic. The chassis comes complete with floating disc, sticker kit, 25mm front stub axle, standard 50mm axle, standard rotax engine mounting, mag rims.

RM13500.00 is the present price for a new Toxic and with the new model, I do not anticipate any increase in price at most additional RM500 for exchange rate and others.

SHAP has a comprehensive range of parts for the karts and they have replacement frame also. There are enough parts to last for the whole year.

From what I know, there are two companies that developed the front hand brake system. One is CRG and the other Zanandi. Adi has the CRG system and I have read an article on the one developed by Zanandi.

These front brake system can be mounted on any make of chassis since it is always a change of steering.

If you have something in mind specifically, send me an email and I will see what we can do about it.
