I own a plot - area: 12000 sq ft. I would like to know what i would require to build a go kart track on it.
I believe KnK karts,Goa will be my provider for karts however i want to know the approx cost for building the track including tyre walls / guardrails, the maintenance required for the track / karts... how often would i require to replace tyres? what are the licenses required? how much does a set of 4 tyres cost in INR? Safety, etc...

Sounds like you have a lot of questions. The best idea would be to get in touch with someone in India that has built a similar size track.

It seems that this will be a rental-only track?

An approximate cost is impossible because it depends on so many variables (and I certainly wouldn't know where to start).

For safety you can check out CIK-FIA's recommendations for leisure karting HERE.

The guys at KnK karts should be able to give you advice. If you've been in contact with them I suggest you sit down to discuss your track with them. They're involved in all aspects of karting - not just manufacturing them.

To start off with 12,000 sqft will just not be enough for a kart track. There is a lot of advice that can be given. feel free to let me know if you need more information.
