Hi all,

I'm having this crazy idea. I'm thinking of buying a SQ Racing Kart to test drive it. To see what the hype is all about. Any takers in after i'm done with it?

P.S Don't you all want to know what it can do? haaha

Regards,
Daniel

Yeah 21,000 doesn't sound too unrealistic for the largest kart manufacturer.

Trulli is Swiss Hutless now btw.

So you're going to be buying them for rentals? Do you have a track? I'll go visit you for a test

Me too....! :D
Why have 300hp when you cannot handle a kart's 30hp?

I just spent the last 1 hour talking to the owner of SQ racing on the phone. And the way he described the kart they look like they mean business. Every component is built in house and every part of the engine is built with added knowledge by chinese scientist. They have managed to use special metal composites to make the engine much more reliable. But he'll be spending me one. So we'll see then.

THey're going to have the top australian racer to race for them on August at the Race. I'm be keeping a close eye on that to see how it goes

Good that you called him up. No better way to find out about them than talk to the man that is getting things done :!:

RocK - good luck with getting the lease sorted!

Yeah, He seems like a really nice guy. But one thing is that we kept stressing on the fact that HIS SQ KArt will BLOW ANYTHING kart that is ahead of it. To be it sounds a little like Bull ( Tony, Birel and CRG spent so many donkey years and someone is just going to come in snatch the R & D that was done by them? No way.)

But i'll be waiting to see how they do in Australia in Aug.

Sorry missed this post! I've never actually seen the kart. I remember talking to Rosedi years ago when he was planning it. Does he actually make the chassis here? On his website it claims it's CIK homologated so I think it might be a chassis from somewhere else and re-badged as a rosedi kart? There certainly is no rosedi-kart in the CIK homologation lists.

:

One of my buddies saw it at rosedi's shop. it's comes with the KT100 yamaha engine. sorry, I didn't notice the reply post.

I remember Rosedi actually had some machinery in place to bend tubing to make karts - looked like he had some prototypes going but guess he never got around to manufacturing them himself for some reason.

Also looking forward to SQ's racing debut.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to show you another Chinese made kart that has been in production for over three years now. The brand is "Road Rat" and these can be shipped all over the world. Retail prices can be seen here:
http://www.gatormoto.com/index.cfm?Acti ... Category=5

but discounts are given for orders of more than 5 karts at a time. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions!

SQ look far more serious about breaking into the European / Asian serious racing scene - have you ordered one yet?

Just remember to compare apples to apples. The Road Rat karts are 1/3 of the price of the SQ. Ours are entry level karts for people who want to try some karting without having to spend much money up front. Have a good night everyone.
