I may as well start the ball rolling.

I'm Mikko Nassi and I'm from Finland but have been living in Malaysia since 1999. I took up karting in Finland in 1997 with a Swedish-made 85cc direct drive "Radne Raket" engine. Since then I've driven and raced all kinds of karts including 100cc piston port, ICA, Parilla Leopard, and Rotax Max which is what I'm racing this year. I'm the founder of this website and I also started www.kartingmalaysia.com.

Hi there. I am Mark Timms, originally from the UK but I've lived in Malaysia since 1995. I've always been interested in motorsports but it was only in March this year (2007) that I started getting involved in karting.

Similar to Mikko, I am running a Rotax senior engine in a SH Magic chasis. Unfortunately though, I am nowhere near close to being able to compete against Mikko!

Welcome to the forums Mark! Are you going to be racing in RMC round 4 or 5 maybe? AAM license costs have been cut down by 50% so there's no excuse not to.

Let me know when and where you're going to be practicing and I'll come over and give you some advice if you like so that you'll get a lot closer.

Hi! this is naza and I have been doing amateur karting since 2005. We (and my son Tarmizi) are on a Tonykart/ Max senior package and have been thinking about the KKS / RMC races.......for some time.

Naza if you've been thinking about it for some time... there's only one thing left to do! If you want to jump right in the deep end of it then round 5 of the Malaysian Max Challenge is a good place to start! It'll be with the Asia Max Challenge so you should have a bunch of drivers to race against! It'll be on 8-9 September - or a few weeks earlier there's round 4 which should be a bit more relaxed.
