Terva! Mikko and Hello all the karters here :D

I didn't know you are a Finn until i saw this thread.I know kart almost like football in Brazil. It's very pop in Finland.

I'm 18 now and I haven't drive any kart before last year,I have years' sim-racing experience but racing game is NOT what i was looking for,I wanna drive real kart even formula series.

I took part a youth karter selection in Zhuhai,China last year,It was a fantastic opportunity for me and I got a 3 days' Tonykart trade and a 3 days' Formula Junior 1600 trade for free. but after that,I can't afford the deposit of the race and I thought I need to drive more and more kart at first. So I drive nothing now. however I'm try everything I could do to make it.saving money for a kart, regardless of to continue my career or just have fun with it,I'm willing to if budget is OK.

BTW,I used to use "Mikko" as my finnish name in other forums, but i found there's a Mikko very active on this fourm,so i use another nick name of mine,it's a finnish as well because i love Finnish. :P Seuraava kierros=OK!

Moi!

Good to know that you like Finnish people! And a good name you've been using. :D

Yeah sim racing is actually pretty good to learn racing technique, at least the good sims are.

Btw I'm going to China on Sunday and will be there for about a week, in Shanghai mainly I think. Any kart tracks I could check out? There's a kart track in Zhuhai?

there's several kart track in Zhuhai as well.2 of them are better.
One is in the Zhuhai International Ciruit, and another one is much better and bigger, where was built on a island.

Shanghai:
1.Shanghai International Circuit-kart track

This is a link of a motorsport company, you can find out how to get the track from it.

2.Qu yang kart track
Adress:Zhong Shan Bei Lu 800#

Zhuhai:
1.Golden Apple kart Track (Jin ping guo Kart Track)
http://www.zhkarting.com/contactus.htm
Just take the 85# bus to the Island, you can find it beside an amusement park

2.Zhuhai International Circuit-kart track.

Thanks Mikko

I repainted the chassis 2 years ago bright yellow and have never used the stock stickers I'v always customized them or done something differant. It gets washed after every outing. After the season it gets torn down to bear chassis and everything gets cleaned and/or replace and put back together. I take care of my kart and it keeps running for me !

Salut MB

The event is held at CK Track, Shah Alam. Each year we have 10 rounds for our driver series and 2 endurance race (sometimes even 3 endurance a year). The fees will start from RM90 to RM200 depending on what category you are in (for driver series). Please bear in mind that we are only using rental karts from the operators to have the race. So the karts are not as good as those you see in RMC or KKS or any other international races. In the event, you will be racing with people from all ages starting from 15 years old to even 55 years old. The fees are paid on race day.

For more information on all the races, fees, regulations and etc.. log on to http://club.my-kart.org
