BeaconFinder allows you to recreate missing beacons in AIM RaceStudio2 data.

BeaconFinder calculates beacon shift between two sessions – allowing easy overlaying of race data.

Is it fairly common to miss a beacon? I've only ever used magnet/loop timing.

Low batt or happen to be side by side with another kart.

Personally I always use fresh batt and place the transmitter where its only a single racing line..

The most annoying thing is when you get missed magnetic loops! At the elite track the magnet laid in the track started tearing out so depending on your line sometimes you hit it sometimes you didn't. Tracks with two or three magnets like Shah Alam are great, most tracks only bother to have one put in though.

Yea, we have the same problems for our Brunei track too. Thats why we going with IR. easer to maintain.

Great thing about AiM RaceStudio2 together with MyChron4 + GPS/E-Box, you can put any number of virtual splits.

BeaconFinder only useful for those who dont have GPS/E-Box.
