like to hear opinions abt this setup as i'am juz thinkin of gettin a personal kart. driven frds arrows kart b4 n was hooked so am lookin ard for used or new karts. Was offered a new MBA chassis w 07 Rotax Max engine @ abt 7k. Another offer tat came up was a used Arrows kart i think was AX1 w Rotax Max also tat was abt a year old askin also for abt 7k. In a dilemma, which one do u guys think wld be e better deal n any opinions on e MBA chassis as little is being said abt this brand. From Sgp thanks in advance guys

The first question to ask the seller is where can you purchase another set of brake pads. There is a friend in Singapore who just bought a used MBA but cant drive it further as they cant locate someone to sell them the design specific brake pads that MBA utilises. I have tried to help them but had difficulty finding a MBA parts seller over the internet as well. If you can establish contact with someone on who can supply the MBA brake pads to you, do let me know.

As mlange said parts availability is incredibly important.
I've raced and driven both Arrow and MBA and really liked the way both handled. Performance-wise you can't go wrong with either. (My most recent experience was a few years ago though).

Thanks for e advice. i'll check w e nice uncle who offered me e MBA Korsa chassis abt e parts availability 1st.

What wld e diff then btw a Rotax Max Senior 125 to an Iame X30? Juz e little bit in bhp or durability? Lastly is e MBA korsa evolution chassis under CIK homogolation?

I don't have any experience with the X30 so don't know about that. I think it is rated as a bit more powerful.
For the latest homologation lists you can check the
CIK website.I looked around but couldn't see any MBA karts. The latest news on any MBA websites I found was from 2006, so it looks like they are out of business.
