Vroom Karting Magazine

Postby Daniel Woodroof » Wed Aug 11, 2010 4:28 pm

Hey all,
I have just been wondering if there is anybody in Malaysia who recieves Vroom Karting magazine?
I have been trying to subscribe for some time, but Paypal is being a real pain. So if anyone has any ability to bring in the magazine, i would gladly pay for the monthly issue :D

The best solution is to buy local i.e. from someone in Malaysia that brings in the magazine whom you can buy from.

In case there isnt, KartingSingapore does distribute Vroom magazine in Singapore and resells them via Kartright Circuit.

You could contact Kartright (info@kartright.com) and arrange a monthly subscription with them.
Visit http://WWW.KARTINGSINGAPORE.COM ... Singapore's karting community portal.

Daniel,

Get your dad to use his credit card and subscribe to the mag. You get it delivered to your doorstep every month. Once you have subscribed they will also put you through to read the mag from the web.

I have been a subscriber for the last 5 years.

James,

This is what I had done in the first place but there was this constant problem of us not being able to set up a Paypal account due to our location. Paypal seems to be the only form of payment.

Daniel - if you can get hold of a copy of the Vroom magazine, at the back page is a subscription form which you fill out with your credit card number and signature. After that you scan it and email to Vroom. They will process your subscription. The cost is Euro 104 air mail.

If you dont have a form, call me and I will pass one to you.

I think this is a fairly new addition from Vroom - you can order the issues in PDF format online for just 2.9 euro each. PDF versions are out on the 20th of each month.

I tried the web ordering out and ordered last month's issue. Payment worked flawlessly with paypal.

The download was about 40mb - it failed a few times and wasn't fast. I then used Flashget and the download came through a lot faster and without problems.

Works out a massive amount cheaper than ordering the print version.
