need to change the seat position as the front wears too fast

Postby Matias » Tue Aug 10, 2010 6:01 pm

we eventually get our own kart running on the track this summer, having done a week's practising, and now we found 2 majoy problems here, if there's any one can give us some advice i would be thankful :)

1, the front tire worn out very fast as the rear tires can still last for +100 laps at least, so im thinking that if we need to change the seat position a bit backforward ? as our seat it located quite close to the front end

2, about the driving,, we are running KT100 yamaha without clutch, in some slow curve, i brake hard at first, and then at the time i want to push the throttle, it feels like i didn't hit the throttle...and the power comes with a short lag....i.e, there's a very shot gap between the braking and the accelerating, it just awaste of time, for example i wanted to push the throttle before the APEX(i was pushing smoothly, gradually), but the throttle came at APEX, and it's very suddenly and heavy :(
