You can pay anything from RM3000 and above (much above) depending on what you want to do - race or just have some fun. Buying the kart is only the start of the expenses - you then need to store and maintain it, buy tyres etc.

Send me a PM with some more details of what you want and I'll try to give you some proper advice.

As John said it depends what you want to do - and how fast you want to go.

You can pick up a 1-2 year old race ready Rotax Senior kart for around RM12k -18k depending on condition and the deal you can find. The older and worse condition they get the cheaper you can grab 'em.

Brand new for a Rotax Senior you're looking at about 22K+, Unless you go for something like the Intrepid Storm kart with a new engine the complete package comes to around 19k with a set of tyres etc. Add more for extras like front brakes or a data logging system.

Rotax is the easy choice in Malaysia because of parts & service availability, and Yamaha spares should also be easy to come by.

Tell us more about what you're looking to do and it'll be easier to advise.
