Sub-Skin Shirts For Free

Just in case you missed the article on the main page, all you need to do is "like" the kartingasia facebook page and the post on the shirts.

3 shirts - 3 winners.

I wanted to get myself a long-sleeve moisture wicking shirt for a while now and had been looking around the shops in KL. Canterbury was nice but far too expensive, Nike Pro was better priced at under RM200, but I could only find them in white which isn't ideal for karting! The main reason I wanted long-sleeve is for sun protection.

I finally found these Korean made shirts imported by a guy called Hafiz in Malaysia and sold through his website http://www.subskin.com.my priced at RM100. I bought two to see if they're any good.

Now I won't go to the track without one. I wear one shirt all-day because they dry quickly enough so you don't need to hang them to dry, and when they're still damp they cool you down noticeably. Another karter bought them since and his review was just as good. I also like them because there isn't a lot of branding on them - just a simple logo on the front and nothing else.

I contacted Hafiz and asked if he'd be willing to give a few to KartingAsia.com readers in return for some advertising so here we are! Winners will be chosen randomly (all names entered into a program) at the end of this month. Winners will be contacted on facebook.

- just for the information of others looking for long-sleeve undergarments to wear under their suits , I got a black top/bottom combination from Universal Traveller (the shops which sell winter travel wear/gear).

- only RM150/160 , thereabouts.

- its made of a light wicking material and is very comfortable.

- makes wearing your suit much more bearable.

Thanks for the info Pistole - good to have different options. I'll check them out when I go jacket shopping.

I have been using these sub skins after mikko introduced me to them. They are excellent for colling, comfortable, and work very well for sun protection as well. I just used them for the AKOC race in thailand and one of the major advantages is that you can just wash them at the end of the day in the bathroom basin and hang them out and they will be dry the next morning to use again. Taking normal t shirts for overseas races is terrible as you need a new shirt each day and at the end of the week you have a bunch or dirty wet t-shirts.
