Hi! I'm a regular karter at Kart-trak, Boomland. I was told by the manager that there are negotiations to extend the track on the adjacent lot. I also tried Speedzone a few times until it closed last month. i heard speedzone has been bought by the Baretto group and they are looking for a new Speedzone track. I also heard that Mr. Desmet, the previous owner of Speedzone is creating a new track with a new name, too. Some friends also told me they saw some go-karts running on new go-kart tracks when they were riding the mrt. hmmm. If u have any news on these, pls post ur infos for the karting community. In a nutshell, the infos that need confirmation and details are as follows :

1. Where will Speedzone transfer?
2. Will Mr. Desmet create a new track with another name? Where?
3. Is there a new track in EDSA corner Quezon Ave?
4. Is there a new track along EDSA more or less across Megamall?
5. Is there any other new track aside from Citykart(Paranaque), Kart-trak(Boomland), Carmona(Cavite), BRC(Batangas), Le Mans(Subic) and Kartzone(Cebu).

Lets pool-in our infos, guys!

Godspeed! =)

For item no.5, I forgot to mention Enchanted Kindom(Laguna) as one of the current go-kart tracks in operation, making it a total of 7 operational tracks in the country that I know. I also heard before that there's one being constructed in the banawe rice terraces area. It's like an extreme sports-leisure haven. I was told there's also one in tarlac. Whats the name? Also heard there's also one planned for Cainta. Hmmm. So many unconfirmed infos... Whatever infos u add, it would be beneficial to all.

Thanks! =)

In which side of the MRT? I regulary ride MRT, I'll check it out tomorrow.

I see a construction going on in the old golf course in Quezon Avenue but I think it's not a kart track.

I was told it's on the side oposite megamall, meaning its on the right side if ur going to makati. My friend said it's beside the new building there named Highway 54. I want to check it out myself.

The one in EDSA corner Quezon Ave across McDonald's is a project by Eton. The person that mentioned that there seems to be a go-kart track there is the wife of an Australian who's into go-karting in Australia. That's why I'm thinking it could be possible that the project includes a track or maybe they're utilizing the parking area temporarily. Hmmm

Just post ur inputs, guys! Will keep u posted on my own track seeking inputs. =)

Oh I see, it's near Highway 54 building, too bad I went to Megamall then ride the MRT from shaw so I didn't have a chance to look over at that part.

I've seen nothing, maybe it's just a temporary track.

where exactly? I can't seem to find out a construction of a track, all I can see is just a construction a new building on the former golf course.
