The opening round of the Rotax Max Challenge Indonesia was held in Sentul last weekend. In the Senior category Zahir Ali took the championship lead with 2nd place in the pre-final and first in the final ahead of Alroy Syadaviryas. Julio Prost was 3rd in the final but thanks to his better finish in the pre-final he is currently 2nd in the championship with Alroy in 3rd.
In the Junior category Nabil Hutasuhut grabbed maximum points with wins in the pre-final and final, and already has a 7 points lead ahead of David Sitanala.
Muhammad Harits triumphed in MicroMax, while Tommy Soebroto battled to win the Masters final after 4th in the pre-final.
