RMC Malaysia and Asia Rd4 Results, Standings

RMC Pekan Seniors Final StartThe 4th round of the Rotax Max Asia Zone and Malaysia Challenges were held at the Pekan kart circuit in Pahang, Malaysia last weekend. The full results can be viewed on mylaps here. In the Seniors Silvano Christian took the pre-final win but ran into bad luck in the final while in 4th being forced out of the race after contact with a driver that had spun in front of him. Calvin Wong went on to win the race 2 tenths ahead of Senna SN after a 5th in the pre-final. The win was critical as it kept Wong at the front of the Asia Zone standings on even points with Senna, and moved him to a more comfortable lead in the Malaysia standings.

Presley Martono won the MicroMax category ahead of James Pull and Rory Elliott. In Juniors Gilbert Ang took charge by coming from a 4th place starting position to win the final ahead of Daim Hishammudin and Daniel Woodroof. Shota Kitazono has given himself a healthy buffer in the DD2 standings going in to the final round after holding off Will Chan who couldn’t make it past despite his best efforts.
