James Pull Kicks off 2011 Season with Rotax Invitational

James Pull Starting 2011 Season EarlySingapore, 7 January 2011
– Recharged and refreshed from his year-end break, Pull is ready to resume racing as he aims to achieve top honours in 2011. Into his final year competing as a Cadet (Under-12) karter, James Pull will be starting his 2011 season this weekend at the Rotax Invitational Race 2011 held at the Sepang International Karting Circuit. Organised for the first time in Malaysia, 11-year-old Singapore-based Pull will be competing in the Micromax category against 25 other drivers from the region.

“This is my last year racing in the Cadet category and I aim to consistently perform and achieve the best results possible. It was a tough season in 2010 but it has made me stronger in many aspects and the experience will hopefully serve me well,” said Pull.

2010 was Pull’s first time competing in the full season of the Yamaha SL Cup Malaysia and Asian Karting Open Championship (AKOC). Eventually finishing second overall in both series, Pull gained tremendous racing experience and he even led both Championships at certain points of the season. He also headed to Italy at the end of the summer as part of his development programme and participated at a World Series Karting Master Series race.

For 2011, Pull is planning to race in the AKOC and Yamaha SL Cup again and also the Rotax Max Challenge Malaysia series. There are plans to race more in Europe for further development.
