AKOC Philippines Saturday Update

Yasuo Senna Iriawan Grabbed KF3 Pole Position
All the heats this morning were run in wet conditions after dry qualification runs. At times it was a proper downpour but most of the day it was just a light drizzle keeping the conditions wet.

Daniel Woodroof took a dominant two wins in the first two Junior (KF3) heats after a 3rd in quali. A fouled plug in the 3rd heat resulted in a DNF. Yasuo Senna Iriawan took the win in the 3rd heat ahead of Daim Speed Hishammudin. Senna Iriawan will be starting the pre-final on pole after two 2nd places and the win ahead of Daim Hishammudin and Vrei Ar Suba. Despite his DNF Woodroof will start tomorrow fairly high up in 4th place.

In Senior 125 Open Vencer Suba grabbed pole position in qualifying and will start tomorrow on pole as well after a win and 2 3rds. Andrew Tang had an eventful day with a poor 1st heat including a 3 second penalty followed by a dominant win in heat 2 and a close-fought win ahead of Alessandra Madrigal in the 3rd heat. Madrigal will start the pre-final in 2nd ahead of Andrew Tang in 3rd.

Pre-Finals and Finals are tomorrow.
